Updating My Website

I've added a YouTube channel (www.youtube.com) which, is mostly a repeat of my new page Photos and videos on my website. I will try to keep that current as much as possible.

I am so proud of www.kimyannayon.com .  I am now starting to get author exclusive items. Woohoo! I currently have a coloring book in stock and soon I should have 3-D books, as well as,  hard cover books.  Below is a picture of the cover of the coloring book.

Lucy's Big Mess is Spreading.

First, I would like to thank everyone for their kind words regarding the passing of my cat Perry. He was very special to me and will remain in my heart forever.

I have good news. Lucy's Big Mess is now available on the Kindle and my book is back in stock at Barnes&Noble.com. I recently came across a website called bookvibe.com and I noticed Lucy's Big Mess was listed there.

I was very happy when I was told that my book in on back order in Australia. I cannot wait to see where else my book is for sale.

I had a fantastic book signing event Saturday, November 16th.  The owners of M & M Courtyard Cafe and Coffee House were very welcoming and warm. Also, their French Vanilla Latte was yummy!

I have another book signing event coming up Saturday, December 7th.

Thank you all ♥

Learning to Let Go.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this blog. I am writing this to keep the memory of Perry alive.  To many he was just a cat, to me, he became like a child.  I've had him since he was a baby.

I have tried to do everything a responsible pet owner should do. My one mistake was letting him go outside.

I have been through so much with Perry. He had every vaccine he should, as well as, being fixed.  He was well loved and played with.  I knew something was wrong this morning when I left for work. I actually remember telling myself that Perry was missing and how odd that was.

I remember he use to love sitting on my desk as I worked. He knew that was one way to get my attention.

I am so sad and inconsolable that I am physically ill.  Making this post has helped, but  I'd rather have my kitty back. Letting go is never easy.

More Projects To Come!

First thank you all for taking the time to visit WWW.KimYannayon.comwww.Goodreads.com, and www.Blogger.com.

I am currently working hard on trying to get my next Lucy book published.  The next one is Lucy and The New Baby.  I am still writing Lucy's First Day of School. I am not sure of the direction I want to go with that book yet.

Good news!  Lucy's Big Mess the hard cover, 3-d book, and coloring book will be available soon. They are exclusive items and will only be sold on my personal website.
I've updated my website to show these upcoming projects.

In other news...just kidding. Today I made the front cover of The Salem Times-Commoner Newspaper, it continues on page 3. Very exciting. I bought 6 copies. LOL.

Thank you

Lust, Money, & Murder by Mike Wells

For those who are not familiar with Mike Wells, he is an American best selling author of over 20 novels. He currently lives in Europe and teaches part-time in the Creative Writing program at the University of Oxford.

When I first saw this book the cover intrigued me. I had that warm fuzzy feeling I get when I see a book I want to read. ☻  As I started reading I felt as though I was watching a movie, it no longer felt like I was reading. This book is very fast paced and you are unable to put it down.  I agree with so many people before me who have read Lust, Money, & Murder that Mike Wells has captured the mind and perspective of a women.

Lust, Money, & Murder revolves around Elaine Brogan, a brave and determined women. She decides to become a Secret Service Agent specializing in counterfeit money. After being tempted she finds herself balancing justice and the life of crime.

I don't want to reveal too much about the book, because I want everyone to read it for themselves and become hooked.

You can find this great book and many others on Amazon.com and www.mikewellsbooks.com

All The Things I Love!

Giving ya'll a little up date.

I am so proud to announce that my webpage is up and running. I've added a link to this blog on my website. In a few months I am sure my website is going to change up a bit.  I am going to try to link the two sites together were they can become a mirror image.

I have a page for my books and products. I will soon have a hardcover book, 3-D book, and a coloring book.  I am not sure what the prices are yet. I will have to go over that with my publisher.

I am very proud to be Officially Plugged In.  I've read William Shatner's book and he stated that he was kicked off twitter for impersonating himself. Of course they finally straightened it out, but I don't what that to happen to me.  Of course I am nowhere near his level of greatness. But it proves my point that it does happen.

I was told that Lucy's Big Mess was going to have a commercial. I know it's probably me over wishing, but I would love for it to lead to a cartoon show on PBS or nick jr.

Thank you for reading. ♥

Website Up and Running!

I am completely beside myself right now. I never thought I would have a website. As I look at www.KimYannayon.com I am thrilled and I find it weird at the same time. I would like to thank everyone for their time and hard work it took to make that website possible.

Autumn

I love Autumn. The falling yellow and orange leaves. Drinking warm #coffee. The cool crisp air. It doesn't get any better than fall.

Gearing Up For Thanksgiving OR Preparing For Christmas.

I am relieved that Halloween is over, yet I am also saddened.  I think it's more about the time of year then it is about the actual holiday.  I'm just not thrilled about the amount of candy my children will be consuming over the next few months. LOL!

Have people forgotten Thanksgiving?  Is it just me or does it seem as if we go from Halloween to Christmas?  I noticed that in two days yes, 2 days my town did just that. Now the square has decorated with mini Christmas trees.  Call me old fashioned, but I believe in celebrating one holiday at a time and preferably in correct order.

I am so thrilled to be spending Thanksgiving with my family that is coming in from out of state.  We are all going to be under one roof.  November is also a special month for me. It's the one month that I have the most family celebrating a birthday.  My Uncle, Best-friend, Son, and Mother.  Amazing.
